Stay Safe in the Sun
We are all hoping for good weather this summer, but if you are out and about in the sun please do remember to use adequate sunscreen to prevent skin cancer. Ask our pharmacy staff for advice on the best products to use. Take particular care with children and make sure they wear high factor sunscreen, a sunhat and drink plenty when out in the hot sun.

Meningitis ACWY Vaccinations
Going to University in September? We would like to invite all teenagers born between 01/09/1998 & 31/08/1999 to make an appointment for this vaccination. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment with a nurse.

Vitamin D
Vitamin D is essential for healthy bones and we get some vitamin D from a small number of foods, including oily fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring and sardines, as well as red meat and eggs. In the UK from around late March/early April to the end of September we get most of our vitamin D from sunlight exposure. Find out how to get enough without risking sun damage by visiting the NHS choices website. www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Summerhealth/Pages/vitamin-D-sunlight.aspx.
